Write to the desk

The address is [email protected], and it goes to the same people who edit the site. There is no contact form, no ticket number and no automatic reply: a person reads what arrives and answers from that address.

Corrections

If a figure, a date, a rule number or a name is wrong somewhere on the site, this is the fastest way to have it fixed. Say which page it is on and what the right version should be — a link to the source is worth more than a long explanation. Archive pieces from 2014–2016 are kept as they were filed and are not quietly rewritten, so a correction to one of them is noted on the page rather than swapped in silently. Anything published since the relaunch is corrected in place, and the page states what changed. How this works in full is set out in our editorial policy.

Photographs and licences

Every photograph on the site is reused from Wikimedia Commons under the licence named in its caption, with the author credited. If you are the author of an image and the credit or the licence is wrong, write and it will be corrected or the image removed the same week.

Pitches

Pitches for the basketball desks are welcome and are read in the order they arrive. What we are looking for, and what we are not, is listed on Write for us. Please send the idea and a sentence about what you would do with it rather than a finished piece.

What we do not do

We do not sell tickets, merchandise or advertising on the editorial pages, we do not publish press releases as reporting, and we are not able to pass messages to the club or to any player. This site is an independent publication and has no connection to the Brooklyn Nets, BSE Global or the National Basketball Association.
