Four wallpapers were made for the old site and the image files did not survive the move. The credits did, and they are below, with the record of what the page held.

From the archive, and incomplete. The four captions above are the whole of the text this page ever carried. It was a download page: four wallpapers made for the old site by the designer credited in each caption, with a thumbnail and a link to a full-size file. The image files themselves are not part of the material that was kept, so what survives is the record of what the page held and who made it — the credits, which are the part that ought to survive.
Why the page is still here
Because the address is, and because the credit is. Four people are named on this page as having made something for the site, and a redirect to the front page would take their names off the internet along with the address. The honest version is this one: the page says what it was, says the files are gone, and keeps the credits exactly as they were written.
What it was part of
Fan-made wallpapers were a standard fixture of basketball blogs in the seasons this archive covers, and they dated fast. Each one was built around a player in a particular uniform, which is a design with a shelf life of about one trade deadline: three of the four names above had left the club within two seasons of the page going up. That is a large part of why nobody maintained pages like this one, and why so few of them survive anywhere.
Where the pictures on this site come from now
Nothing on the current site is fan artwork. Photographs are reused from Wikimedia Commons under the licence named in each caption, with the photographer credited, and the captions say what is in the frame rather than claiming to show a particular game or moment. The reasoning behind that, and what we do when a licence turns out to be unclear, is set out in the editorial policy.
