Injury Update: Chris McCullough to Return After All-Star Break

Chris McCullough‘s sole season at Syracuse ended badly when he collapsed to the Carrier Dome floor with a torn ACL that kept him out for the rest of the season.
McCullough’s injury kept the Syracuse big man out of the lottery, as most teams were unsure whether the rookie would be able to see the floor during his rookie season.
According to ESPN’s Mike Mazzeo, the Bronx native may be ready to suit up for the Nets as early as this season.

At Syracuse, Chris McCullough averaged 9.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game in 16 games before the 20-year old suffered a season-ending injury. He recently began playing five-on-five in Nets practices about three weeks ago.
The Nets, losers of ten of the past eleven games, don’t have much to look forward to this season. However, the return of Chris McCullough should have fans excited. After all, he did promise fans that he would be bringing a championship to Brooklyn.
