8 pieces, filed between and

This is an index page. It holds the byline of Joshua Rudin — 8 pieces in all — and nothing else: the writing is on the pages it lists. The newest filing sits at the top, which on an archive of this age means the most recent thing that was said under the name rather than the most important.

All of it belongs to 2015, which is worth saying plainly and near the top: this is an archive page, the pieces on it are old, and they are kept because people still link to them rather than because they are current.

Where the same subject is covered now is Opinion, which holds 70 pieces. If you came here looking for something current rather than something filed, that desk is the place to start.

Nothing here is a verdict. The page carries no scores and makes no claim about the pieces it lists beyond their titles and their dates, because those are the only two things about them that a list can be sure of.

Cleveland is a better matchup for the Nets

If the NBA playoffs started today, the Nets would face the Atlanta Hawks in the first round. The Hawks’ all-around talent and chemistry makes them a less-ideal match-up for Brooklyn. Personally, I think that the Nets have a better chance to win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
