Nets cruise past Hawks at home

Brook Lopez led the way with 22 points and 13 rebounds,Thaddeus Youngadded 18 points and 11 rebounds, and theBrooklyn Nets beat Atlanta 91-83 on Saturday to cut the Hawks’ lead to 2-1 in the Eastern Conference series on Saturday afternoon.

The Nets started off strong and had a 15 point lead after the end of th first quarter. However, that lead diminished by the beginning of the third quarter when the Hawks recovered from a poor start to grab a four point lead. At the near end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth, the Nets took control of the game by going on a 18-0 run. After that, there was no looking back. 

Despite having 23 more fast break points than the Nets, the Hawks fell short on Saturday night behind Paul Millsap‘s 18 points and 17 rebounds.

Brooklyn hopes to keep the momentum going and even up the series on Monday night.
