Nets cruise past Wizards in blowout victory at home

The Nets dismantled the Washington Wizards at Barclays Center on Friday night, walking away with a commanding 117-80 victory in front of another sellout crowd.

Following a heartbreaking 114-111 loss to the Hawks, the Nets rebounded in a dominant way. At the end of one, the Nets led by 16 points.

The Nets led for the rest of the way and went on another scoring burst in the beginning of the fourth quarter, crushing any hope of a late-game comeback by the Wizards. The team scored a season-high 42 points in the fourth quarter.

For the Nets, Brook Lopez led the way with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic also scored 22 points on a 6-6 shooting from three. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams also added 9 assists each.

It took some time for the Nets to figure things out this season. But, they are clicking are the perfect time.
