Nets re-sign Lopez and Young

This is the Nets’ second best move this offseason after buying out Deron Williams. Thaddeus Young has greatly improved since becoming a Net, averaging 13.8 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game. He will become a big offensive piece for the Nets next year.

Signing Brook Lopez is essential for both their offense and defense. Now that Plumlee is gone, the Nets’ only have one good center, Lopez. Lopez is a key asset for the offense. For a two week period last season, Lopez averaged over 20+ points per game and had several 30 point games. This led him to win player of the month. If he can become that player every game, you better watch out.
