Juan Pablo Vaulet, Argentina

Height: 6’6

Analysis: Juan Pablo Vaulet, 19, has been one of the best players for the Argentinian National Team. His best feature is arguably his physical stature. He has a wide frame that should fill out as his body matures, to what the Nets hope is an NBA level physique. He also has long arms and great athleticism. According to Billy King, it is likely that Juan Pablo Vaulet will stay overseas for at least another season. While Argentina hasn’t had a player drafted since 2003, Vaulet has shown signs of promise, and it seems that when he does decide to join Brooklyn, he’ll be able to contribute immediately.

Why addition by subtraction helps the Nets

It’s been a productive and surprising off-season so far for General Manager Billy King and the Brooklyn Nets. With seemingly few assets and fewer avenues to navigate, King has managed to meet the major objectives presented to him this off-season.
