According to Sportando, Russian forward Andrei Kirilenko is retiring from basketball after a 19-year professional career, including 13 years in the NBA.

Andrei Kirilenko was never a star in the NBA, but he had a stellar career nonetheless. Kirilenko made three All-Defensive teams and one All-Star team during his career. He spent a little more than one season with the Brooklyn Nets before being traded over to the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this season.

Kirilenko’s value in the NBA goes well beyond the numbers on the stat sheet, as evident in his short tenure in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn Nets release pre-draft workouts from June 1st — 3rd

The Brooklyn Nets have just announced three days of pre-draft workouts from June 1st onwards. Workouts will be held at the team’s practice facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This year, the Nets will select 29th overall in the first round and 41st overall, in the second round.
