Mirza Teletovic will miss remainder the season due to blood clots in his lungs

Mirza Teletovic will miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs, the team announced Friday.

The Bosnian forward left the game during Thursday night’s 123-84 loss against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center after experiencing a shortness of breath. After undergoing multiple test, it was determined that Teletovic was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolus and will have to remain hospitalized for the time being and begin receiving blood thinners.

Bilateral pulmonary embolism is a common and highly lethal condition that can lead to death if it is not treated in its early stages. We wish Mirza Teletovic a speedy recovery.
