Report: Denver Nuggets Interested In Brook Lopez
With the trading deadline less than one month away, Nets GM Billy King is trying to make moves to the roster to improve the outlook for the team’s future.
In the last few weeks, several teams have inquired about Brook Lopez. The Brooklyn Nets recently tried to deal their All-star center, but ended up backing away from trade talks. However, it is likely that the Nets will once again start taking offers for Lopez and when they do, the Denver Nuggets will reportedly be in the mix of teams interested for the Nets’ big man.
According to the Denver Post, the Nuggets are ready to make a deal for Brook Lopez if the Nets come to an agreement. The Nuggets would like to trade JaVale McGee in a potential trade with the Nets. It is likely the Nets will also ask for the talented Jusuf Nurkic and additional draft picks to make the trade happen.
Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated provides an update on the Denver Nugget trade:
Any Brook Lopez deal with Denver would send JaVale McGee back to Brooklyn, I'm told. DEN not looking to part with core players though.

According to ESPN, the Nuggets have offered JaVale McGee and JJ Hickson to the Nets for Brook Lopez, but the Nets are not ready to take that deal.
