Nene, Wizards ultimately too much for Brooklyn, as they drop 6th straight at home
The Nets were unable to extend their win streak to two games, as they fell to the Washington Wizards 99–90 at Barclays Center.
Kevin Garnett played his second game of a back-to-back, but it was ultimately not enough for Brooklyn to come away with a victory. For the Nets, Jarrett Jack led the way with 22 points and 8 assists. Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez each added 15 points for the Nets, but shot a combined 11/30 from the field.
For the Wizards, Nene led the way with 20 points and 6 rebounds.
The key stretch for the Nets was the 16-2 run they gave up in the third quarter. A missed three-pointer by Lopez and a few questionable calls by the refs sealed the deal for the Nets, who lost their sixth straight game at Barclays Center.
