Nets continue their winning ways with stunner over Cavaliers
The Brooklyn Nets won for the fourth time in the last five games with an impressive 106–98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Nets held a slim one point lead at half time, but didn’t gain control of the game until late in the fourth when they went up by 10 points with under 3 minutes to play.
Joe Johnson had 20 points and tied a personal Net career high 9 assists. Brook Lopez had another solid game registering 20 points and 9 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic led the Nets bench in scoring with 18 points. Earl Clark made his Nets debut scoring 7 points and 1 rebound in just 11 minutes of play.
Cleveland’s Lebron James scored 24 points but only made 2 of 7 field goal attempts in the second half while Kyrie Irving had 26 points.
The Nets host 9 of their last 11 games at Barclays Center as they look to claw into one of the final remaining playoff spots.
