For what it’s worth, the NBA rumor mill has reported a trade that would send Brook Lopez and/or power forward Thaddeus Young to the Raptors in exchange for Delon Wright, Patrick Peterson, and the Knick’s first round draft pick. While the trade may seem like all speculation, it doesn’t seem like Young and Lopez are completely off-limits.

The Brooklyn Nets are a complete mess right now and the decisions they make to fill their new front office will be critical to the team’s future. According to the Denver Post, Karnisovas has a “pretty good chance” of joining the Nets, but the role seems undecided. The Nets reportedly want to choose a general manager soon, so the decision may be closer than you think.

Bojan Bogdandanic was the only Net this year that was selected to participate in the 2016 All-Star Weekend. He played for the World team. Bogdanovic totaled 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in the BBVA rising stars challenge. This wasn’t enough to push team World past team USA. Team World lost to team USA 154 – 157.

As the trade deadline is coming to a close, the Nets are scrambling for a general manager to help guide their organization for the remainder of the season. Marc Stein of ESPN hinted that the Nets have shown a strong interest in well-renowned Spurs GM, R.C. Buford. Could Buford be the piece the Nets franchise need to turn things around?
