Nets drop 7th straight at home in an overtime thriller

Brook Lopez and Jarrett Jack scored a combined 70 points, but the Raptors were ultimately too much for the Nets, who dropped their 7th straight game at home to the Toronto Raptors, 127-122.

For the Nets,  Jack scored a career-high 35 points and added 13 assists in 52 minutes of action. Brook Lopez also scored 35 points, blocked 3 shots, and added 3 steals off the bench.

The Raptors scored the first ten points of the game, before the Nets fought back to take a lead in the second quarter. At the half, the Nets were down by 12.

From the end of the third quarter to the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Nets made a 19-2 run. However, DeRozen managed to keep the Raptors in the game. Brook Lopez missed a wide open jump shot before the end of regulation, sending the game to overtime.

The Nets and Raptors were able to keep the game close for most of overtime, but the Nets failed to make shots in the end of the game. Bojan Bogdanovic missed a wide-open three pointer to take the lead.

For the Raptors, DeMar DeRozan with scored 26 points, Louis Williams contributed 25 points, and Amir Johnson added 24 points.
