Report: The Nets are interested in signing Andray Blatche

Andray Blatche has spent the last year playing with the Xianjiang Flying Tigers in the Chinese Basketball League, but he may be on the verge of returning to the National Basketball Association.
According to ESPN’s Mike Mazzeo, the Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies are among the teams that are interested in the big man’s services.
This season, Blatche is averaging 31.6 points and 14.6 rebounds for the Flying Tigers.
If given the opportunity to choose between Brooklyn and any team, it seems like Blatche will likely choose the Nets. When asked if he would return to Brooklyn if the opportunity arrises, Blatche said “yes.”

Although the collapse of The Flying Tigers at end of season looks suspicious, it is a welcome development for their 2 players who want to get back to the NBA in the next couple of weeks.
Most impressive is video that seems to confirm that Blatche may have lost around 25 lbs which would put him about the same weight as when he came into the NBA. He’s also shooting 38% from 3 pt, and has been playing SF in China, because they area have 2 true bigs at Center and PF. And from his tweets, he appears to have found region in northwestern China.
Even the bad Blatche is pretty cool as “The BlacheList”, but the good Blatche is “The Chosen One” (from Eddie Murphy movie, The Golden Child).
Dray playing with Mase should be a nice combo.Having Dray would give Billy King more options if he can trade Lopez or Joe Johnson. Nets would have to bring back a quality Big, but could get Stephenson and another quality player.

Definitely agree. Bringing back Blatche would definitely help the team after losing Mirza for the season.
