Nets Trade For Casper Ware, Then Waive Him
Brooklyn, NY) – The Brooklyn Nets have waived guard Casper Ware.
The Nets acquired the point guard from Philadelphia on Friday. Last season, he appeared in nine games and averaged 5.3 points with 1.1 assists.
Brooklyn sent guard Marquis Teague and a 2019 second-round pick to the Sixers in exchange for Ware. The Nets also received a $1,120,920 trade exception.
