Nets Sign Shane Larkin

Shane Larkin fits the Nets’ mantra to become a younger and more athletic team. In 76 games last season, Larkin averaged 6.2 points and 3.0 assists in 24.5 minutes a game, while shooting 30.2 percent from beyond the arc. He should give the Nets additional guard depth in the absense of Deron Williams

With the season starting today for the new-look Nets, it should be interesting to see whether the changes they made this offseason will help the team in the long run. Overall, I think the Nets made some moves in the right direction that can hopefully help the Nets make the postseason for the fourth straight season.

Grading the Brooklyn Nets Offseason

The Brooklyn Nets have made the playoffs for three consecutive seasons, but ultimately they have nothing to show for it. The Nets have made a number of costly, short-term moves in recent years in an attempt to spark a deeper playoff run, but have ultimately failed.
