Nets letting Alan Anderson, Mirza Teletovic go

The Nets’ biggest mistake this offseason was their inability to retain Alan Anderson and Mirza Teletovic. Alan Anderson was one of Brooklyn’s finest defenders. Although Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will take Anderson’s spot on the roster, having another defensive presence would be appreciated.

I can’t blame the Nets for letting Teletovic move to the Suns. Although he is a 3 point threat, his health is a major concern.

With the season starting today for the new-look Nets, it should be interesting to see whether the changes they made this offseason will help the team in the long run. Overall, I think the Nets made some moves in the right direction that can hopefully help the Nets make the postseason for the fourth straight season.

Grading the Brooklyn Nets Offseason

The Brooklyn Nets have made the playoffs for three consecutive seasons, but ultimately they have nothing to show for it. The Nets have made a number of costly, short-term moves in recent years in an attempt to spark a deeper playoff run, but have ultimately failed.
