Brooklyn Nets Preview Throwback ABA-inspired Jerseys
The Brooklyn Nets will pay tribute to the team’s rich history with the new ABA-inspired jerseys, which were worn from 1972–1976 by the New Jersey Nets. Today, the team released a sneak peak of their new ABA-inspired jerseys.

The Nets will debut the new jerseys on March 6th at Barclays Center against the Phoenix Suns. Nets fans hope the new “stars and stripes” jerseys can bring the Brooklyn Nets some luck. The last time the team sported uniforms like these, they won two ABA titles in 1974 and 1976.
Here is what Brooklyn Nets CEO Brett Yormark had to say about the new uniforms:
“We are proud to pay homage to one of the greatest periods in Nets history, The refreshed ‘Stars and Stripes’ uniform connects today’s Nets in Brooklyn with the team’s legacy on Long Island, while also incorporating our team’s signature black and white.”
The new jerseys feature the classic black and white colors with sleeves, and a red white and blue jersey with sleeves.
