Brooklyn Nets reach deal with free-agent guard Wayne Ellington
Free-agent shooting guard Wayne Ellington agreed to one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, per team release.

Last season, Ellington played a large role for the Lakers, starting 36 games and averaging career highs of 10.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. With the departure of Alan Anderson and Mirza Teletovic, Ellington provides the Nets with the outside shooting the team desperately needs.
