Brooklyn Nets sign Donald Sloan

The Brooklyn Nets have signed point guard Donald Sloan, General Manager Billy King announced today.

In the 2014-15 season with the Pacers, Sloan averaged 7.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in 53 games. He will compete for playing time in Brooklyn’s crowded backcourt that features Jarrett Jack, Shane Larkin, Ryan Boatright, and Markel Brown.

At only 27 years old, Sloan is just entering his prime and could be a steal for the Nets if he can continue to contribute the way he did last season.
