After signing former Pacer and point guard Donald Sloan on Monday, the Nets were also busy waiving their own forward, Earl Clark.

Clark, who in 10 games averaged just 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9 minutes per game, signed a multi-year contract with the team back in April. He also averaged 3 points and 1 rebound in 6.5 minutes per game in two playoff games.

Not that Clark really wanted anything to do with the Nets anyway. It was recently reported by RealGM’s Shams Charania that he was interested in pursuing a deal overseas if he could.

Clark was originally selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 14th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. He has since appeared on the rosters of the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks and, of course, the Brooklyn Nets. He posted a career average of 4.4 points and 3 rebounds in 13.9 minutes per game.
