LeBron's late-game floater sinks Brooklyn Nets

With only 1 second remaining on the clock and Brook Lopez draped all over him, LeBron James knocked down a buzzer-beating floater to sink the Nets and extend Cleveland’s win streak to two.

The Brooklyn Nets played with the intensity throughout the game and never trailed by more than four points, but in the end it ended with another loss, Brooklyn’s 13th of the season.

LeBron James and Kevin Love scored 26 points apiece and Tristan Thompson added a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) as the Cavaliers won their 9th straight game at home this season.

For the Nets, Jarrett Jack (12 points, 14 rebounds) and Thaddeus Young (16 points, 12 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles for the team in the a well-rounded team effort. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 10 rebounds and 5 steals, becoming the first rookie to post those numbers since P.J. Brown (December 3, 1993).

In the end, the story is the same. The Brooklyn Nets continue to compete but are unable to close games out to emerge victorious in their close battles.
