Brooklyn Nets “gauging interest” in Bojan Bogdanovic?
The 2015-2016 NBA season is only four weeks underway and the Brooklyn Nets have already begun considering trade options. According to ESPN’s Mike Mazzeo, the Brooklyn Nets have been gauging trade interest in Bojan Bogdanovic.

However according to NetsDaily.com, that report is completely false.

The reported trade, true or not, should be a surprise to Nets fan considering the fall in his trade value in the past few weeks. In the past eight games, Bogdanovic averaged 3.5 points while shooting 25% from the field and 15% from three-point range. However, Bogdanovic hasn’t been all bad this year. He started the season playing well, shooting 50% in the first 9 games of the season. If the Nets do decide to pull the trigger on Bogdanovic, expect for them to wait for him to get back into his groove to bolster his trade value.
While the report itself doesn’t hail any merit by itself, it is interesting to note the timing of the report. The Houston Rockets are reportedly shopping point guard Ty Lawson, who they acquired this offseason. While Jarrett Jack and Shane Larkin have played well so far this season, acquiring Lawson will bolster Brooklyn’s backcourt and could provide the team with additional depth in the guard position.
It just wouldn’t be an NBA season if the Brooklyn Nets weren’t involved in some trade rumors.
