The Minnesota Timberwolves, Brooklyn Nets agree on deal to send Kevin Garnett to Minnesota
The Minnesota Timberwolves have re-acquired 15-time All-Star Kevin Garnett in a swap that would send Thaddeus Young to Brooklyn. According to NBA.com’s David Aldridge, Kevin Garnett has agreed to waive his non-trade clause to make this deal happen.

Garnett, 38, spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves before he was traded to the Celtics in the summer of 2007. He went on to win his only championship during his first season in Boston. In the summer of 2013, Garnett was traded to the Nets in a blockbuster deal that brought Garnett and Pierce to Brooklyn.
This season, Thaddeus Young is averaging 14.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Timberwolves, while Garnett is averaging 6.8 points and 6.8 rebounds a game for the Nets.
