Rookie Markel Brown Out for 4–6 Weeks

In the 2014 NBA Draft, the Brooklyn Nets selected Markel Brown from Oklahoma State University with the 44th overall pick. During his senior year, Brown averaged 17.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 35.3 minutes per game.

While training in Las Vegas on Monday, Brown was diagnose with a non-displaced fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his right hand. He is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks.  Hopefully, Markel Brown will be back to normal by the time the season starts.
